x1 Auris Hearing System

Finally able to get the unit paired thanks to JC.
Now all I want to know is how to set it for the “Tinnitus Zapper” frequency.
The instructions that came with the unit was incredibly hard to read and didn’t really explain anything other then turning it on.

The headphones worked, but not very well. They were touted as a high fidelity option/adjunct to hearing aids for streaming music and phone calls. Phone call streaming sounded ok, but the music was terrible- very little bass response. I have a pair of wireless earbuds that sound MUCH better for music and do call streaming as well. The only disadvantage is that I must remove my hearing aids before using the earbuds.
Also, I was very disappointed that the microphones in the headphones don't work as hearing aids- they should, even if they don't have all the AI sound processing stuff built in. I was HOPING that the "high fidelity" sound from the headset WOULD in fact assist my hearing aids and I would have the best of both worlds. Alas, the headphones do NOT work that way.
As for the Bluetooth transmitter, that was a nice touch to include it with the headphones, but that did not work for me either. But that was a problem with my A/V receiver I connected it to, not the transmitter itself.
All in all, it was a great idea, but the reality for me was that it just didn't work for me. Now I'll see how well their refund process works.
